Liam graduated as a Sports Therapist in the UK in 1995 and has spent the last 20 years building his reputation as one of the finest therapists in the Asia. In 2012 Liam travelled to Florida to study and work with Aaron Mattes the founder of Active Isolated Stretching (AIS). Under Aaron’s tutelage, Liam developed his approach to sports performance and rehabilitation by learning to optimize force distribution during movement. These biomechanical principles are the foundation of AIS and by 2015 Liam was invited to present his work at Sports Medical conventions and Physiotherapy conferences. In 2016 Liam opened up The Stretch Clinic in Malaysia which uses AIS protocols to improve athletic performance, treat injuries and manage chronic pain.

All the assessments and treatment plans used in The Stretch Clinic are designed by Liam to ensure a high level of care and fast effective recovery. The therapists are also hand picked and trained to international standards so that patients can expect the very best care on their journey to better health.

Liam currently spends his time between working in the clinic in Kuala Lumpur and traveling to work with high profile clients in Europe and the Middle East. His client list includes World champions, Olympic gold medal winners and Champions league winning football stars as well as members of several Royal families and Heads of State. Kenny has both a Doctorate of Osteopathy and a Masters degree in Exercise Science. His work has taken him around the globe and he has conducted workshops and training courses in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and more recently, in Singapore. His seminars focus on manual therapy and building effective training programs for performance and rehabilitation. He is the Chief therapist in the Singapore branch where he specializes in treating clients with acute, chronic and sporting injuries.

Kenny has a multi disciplinary approach to treatment and likes to combine different techniques to ensure the best outcome for each patient depending upon his assessments and their treatment history.

Sessions may include Active Isolated Stretching, strength training, dry needling and soft tissue therapy.

Pei Woon is a member of the Malaysian physio association and has more than 7years experience working with orthopedic Drs in a hospital environment. Her experience and vast knowledge gives her the ability to diagnose conditions and tailor treatment programs that inspire her patients to faster recovery.

Pei Woon has a passion for learning and frequently participates in workshops and courses to expand her knowledge. She thrives on the difficult cases that the medical industry find challenging and always puts her heart into every case.

She specializes in dry needling, craniosacral therapy as well as many other modalities that make a great physio.

After graduating as a Physiotherapist, Fahmi worked as a personal trainer. He was first introduced to Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) when he began to experience pain at his shoulders from training. After the first session, he knew it was a skill set that could greatly benefit his clients and so he enrolled on an AIS course to fulfill his passion of using movement as a form of rehabilitation.

Fahmi wishes to increase his client’s awareness on the importance of exercising smartly and safely. His knowledge of fitness gives him better understanding when treating patients with sports and movement related injuries.

Fahmi specializes in rehabilitation, injury prevention and corrective exercises.

AIS & Massage Therapist, The Stretch Clinic Kuala Lumpur

Cecelia graduated from the University of Malaya obtaining a Bachelor in Sports Science (Exercise Science). Following her degree, she spent 6 months in Indonesia training with Dr. Ali Satia Graha gaining work experience in massage therapy and physical therapy. Along with her ability to conduct AIS & strengthening exercises, Cecelia is chiefly known for her intuitive touch and ability to find and release knots deep in the fascia.

Cecelia specializes in Active Isolated Stretching as well as sports, therapeutic and lymphatic massages.

Clinical Yoga & AIS Therapist, The Stretch Clinic Kuala Lumpur

Mikung graduated from Incheon university with a BA Hons degree in
Sports Science. She became a certified Yoga instructor after falling in love with the practice from her first class and her passion for Yoga has only grown deeper and more profound with time.

Integrating AIS into Yoga provided an outlet to keep moving and challenging the body in beneficial ways that encouraged alignment and balance. She is a caring and passionate instructor who wants to see her clients not only succeed but exceed in accomplishing their goals. With an emphasis on creativity, form and fun, her classes focus on empowering others to transform into their strongest, most powerful version of their healthy selves.

Mikyung teaches both group and private Clinical Yoga classes. She also provides AIS sessions for Stretch Strengthening and Sports Massage.

Brenda is a chiropractor trained in Melbourne (Australia) with a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic as well as a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic). She is also a registered member of the Chiropractic Board of Australia and Malaysia. Brenda is experienced and successful in family health, neck and back pain relief, headaches/migraines, and expecting mom's-to-be. She provides safe, gentle and effective chiropractic adjustments using the Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), Thompson, Activator and Cranial techniques through her post-graduate training.

Mabel obtained her Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from Anglia Ruskin University (UK). Upon graduating, she started work for the General Hospital Kuala Lumpur where she was a resident Phsio for 6 years gaining extensiveexperience in treating sports injuries, neurological conditions and providing geriatric care.

A keen fitness enthusiast, Mabel was a part of SUKMA Netball team where she developed a passion for sports performance and rehabilitation. She isnow following her passion for movement by joining our team while also studying to become a licensed Pilates practitioner. She is a member of the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association and specializes in dry needling, kinesio taping and neuromuscular flossing.
